All of us have those who have touched our hearts but are no longer with us.

This page is to remember them.

Whether family members, friends or just those who passed through our lives and who left a mark on our hearts. They will be forever with us.

I will start with my mother

She died after a very lengthy illness, left her body to science, hoping to help others to understand her illness. I am so very proud of her for this unselfish act.

passed Feb 3 1998 age 74  in Calgary.

If Forgiveness Is peace

Thank Let Us Grant You Peace

If Forgiveness IS Caring

Than Let Us Show We Care

Know That In Peace And Caring

God Will Grant You Serenity.

My daughter in law would like to remember her two brothers.

D.O.D. August 10, 1995

I will remember you as being my confidant.  I could talk to you about anything.

You would give me your honest opinion even if you knew I wouldn’t like it!

You had a wonderful and witty sense of humor!

Love always…Little sister, Linda.

You were my “Big Brother”.  Always looking out for us, and you’d let Everyone know it!  I remember playing “chicken fights” (piggy-back fights) when we were kids.  You’d make sure we won all the time.

Love always…Little sister, Linda.

My son in law would like us all to remember with him, his dear sweet  baby boy Joshua Crewe

Born: Nov 5 1997

Left us: May 23 1999

"My Son"

Daddy's boy! My pride and joy,

I love you so my son

I carry you within my heart,

My Dearest, Sweetest One.

My heart it aches, I miss you so

Although you're here with me.

Both in my heart and in my mind

And with my loving family.

Daddy's Boy!, My precious son.

God has you on His knee,

He's made you a special "Angel"

Now you're watching over me.

This poem was written by his new grandma ME.

Dedicated to them all is this poem I wrote.

" I Wish That GOD Would Wait"

I will beg you not to leave me,

I will plead with you to stay,

I'll cry cause it's not fair.

God moves in a mysterious way.

Why you? I do not understand,

His ways aren't clear to me.

How could He take the best there is

It simply cannot be.

I love you for you goodness,

For your cheerfulness and care.

And when I need assurance

You were always there.

I hope, I said the right things

To let you know your great!

How much I really love you.

And I wish,  that God would wait.

Then we have our SPECIAL Friends Who are ANGELS in themselves.

What a world this would be with out our beloved animals. On this page you will find those who in the past and now have brought such joy into our lives.

Our most spoiled members of the family.

Meet Cercie (right) and Boots

Boots had a personality that no other cat could match. He came to us as a starving stray. Cercie who is spoiled rotten, let him come in and eat.. That was 9 years ago. He never left. He was friend to all. One evening while sitting in the office working on our computers ( they are in the basement office) I heard a noise outside the window were Boots & Cercie usually come in. Looking in at me was a huge pair of glowing eyes. I thought Boots was wanting in so I went to the window to see two pairs of eyes staring at me. There was Boots and a raccoon standing beside him, both looking in the window together. What a site. Well accept one cat who terrorized him. HE was so friendly that he didn't realize how mean this other cat was. Because of this other cat he had several surgeries. One of the surgeries consisted of having his tail removed. This sound weird but if you knew Boots you would think he looked funny WITH A TAIL Each time he came so very close to death. Ron would spoon feed him back to health. We tried to talk to the family of this other cat but they were not the listening kind. We could not keep Boots in the house at all times  as he had been a stray and the vet said he would think we were punishing him. The last time he got bit he got another infection and finally we had to have him put down Christmas Eve 2003. This broke our hearts. We all miss him so much. He had away of opening up the front door to come in. Sometimes I hear the door and expect to see him. He would chew on my hair and lay on my head. What I wouldn't do to have him here to do that again.

Cercie is still the spoiled one and weights 19 lbs. She does not mind being the only one. We have had her since she was a few weeks old. she is now 11. She has the prettiest  face and she sits on my lap while I cut her nails.

When she mows you can hardly hear her plus he mouth barely moves it is quite cute. Of course why would she have to meow she gets everything she wants. Her arthritis slows her down a lot now.

Boots and Cercie shared their space with our daughter in laws cat Mooch. She is the same color as Boots only she has a white bikini on. They each had their own territory for the two years she was living with us. She now is in her new home with Doug & Linda and is every bit as ruler of the house as Cercie.

We have has other strays that we took in as well. There was Buddy, he was so very beautiful and had the look of royalty. Very much like a bobcat.

We moved here to this house 8 years ago and one day Buddy showed up dirty, starving and filthy. His cries would have brought tears to the eyes  of a Spartan. We made a bed for him in the shed and fed him. The next week we took him to the vet for a bath and treatment. We then tried very hard to get him a new family but the family we got for him could not keep him in their home he kept coming back to us. Even though we did all the transactions from the vets a few blocks away. One day our neighbor beside us asked how we got the cat that belonged to the previous family in our house. We were shocked to hear that Buddy belonged to the family who lived here 6 years previously and they had moved and took Buddy with them a 3 hour drive from here. He had come home. He was with us until he and Boots out playing at 2 in the morning one night  was killed by a car and died but while he was with us we know he at least had  a few good months of love and attention.

Our lived can only be enriched by these wonderful animals that think they are people.
